Welcome to the Pilbara Health Network.
The Pilbara Health Network (PHN) is a not for profit community based organisation that works with General Practice and other primary health care providers to improve the health of Pilbara Communities.
PHN is one of the geographically-based networks of General Practitioners (GP's) that assist General Practice in delivering effective evidence based primary health care and PHN also delivers primary health care services in it's own right including audiology, podiatry, diabetes education, dietetics, primary mental health, chronic disease management and a number of preventative health programs.
PHN also provides continuing professional development opportunities for GPs, Practice Nurses and Allied Health staff, keeps its membership informed on developments in primary health care and facilitates input from its membership to health and related policy development and planning.
The Pilbara Health network supports 10 Medical Centres, six hospitals, three Aboriginal Medical Services and a number of outlying nursing posts.
